Bronckhorster Royal Rha is een India Pale Ale. Dit bier heeft wel iets koninklijks, zoals de naam ook zegt. Het bier heeft namelijk een bijna vorstelijke balans. De melange van verschillende moutsoorten is zorgvuldig en afgewogen samengesteld. Datzelfde deed brouwmeester Steve Gammage met de hop. Het resultaat is een IPA volgens de Engelse school, dus geen knalharde bitterhoppen, maar sublieme bitterheid naast de zoete tonen van de mout.

Pours a hazy golden colour with a ridiculously huge, thick white head. Aroma of malts, herbs, tropical fruits, hops. Flavour is fruity and hoppy. Mild bitterness in the aftertaste. Enjoyable.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of yeast, fruits, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, straw, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish. Where is the aroma hops?

Flesje thuis gedronken. Licht amberkleurig bier met matig schuim. Aroma is hoppig. De smaak is hoppig, fruitig en zoetig. Nasmaak is iets bitter maar trekt snel weg.

Bottle. Orange amber color. melon, peach and mango in the aroma. Grassy hops, grapefuit and melon in the flavor. Fairly hoppy, but well balanced IPA.

Fles geprobeerd op een tasting. Het is een troebel oranjeachtig bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een hoppige wat citrus achtige geur. De smaak is hoppig en sinaasappel achtig.

Thuis uit fles in de tuin. Mooi dik schuim. Kleur licht amber. Het is een IPA, maar smaakt wat milder. Lekker, maar niet geweldig. Overall niks mee.

Bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge. Light gold, hazy with impressive carbonation and a large loose white head. Light smell of yeast and earth, some orchard fruit and floral hop. Sweet yeast-led taste with fresh chalky bitter nearing the long refreshing finish. Lime cordial and a hint of honey on the aftertaste. Nice and not your run of the mill IPA.

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized creamy slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some bready and slight toffeeish notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some fruity, resiny and overall quite sweet bitter notes. Tasty.
