Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, hints of chocolate, herbs. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bittersweet finish. Nice Winter Stout.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Very black brew with an great bitter taste and hints of coffee,chocolate and caramel.

Dry classic stout for the most part. Quite enjoyable. Sharp light body, but the taste is there to back it. Bierkonig ams

2016 vintage. On tap at Caf� Derat, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a reddish tinge and a small beige head. Aroma reveals dark fruits, light roast and some soy sauce. Flavour is pretty similar, with soy sauce, sherry-like oxidation, and some dark fruits. I'm not convinced this has aged so well. It's alright.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, roast, licorice and ash in the aroma. Thinnish. Malt roasty flavor with licorice and ash. Hint of alcohol. Fairly well balanced.

Tap @Foeders, Amsterdam, with Joost. Deep dark brown colour with a red hue, good frothy tan head, good retention and lacing. Aroma roasted malt, caramel, milk chocolate, coffee. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malt, milk chocolate, coffee, fruity notes. Short roasty sweetbitter aftertaste, medium body, ashy notes, oily texture, soft carbonation. Tasty and easy to drink, all in all very good.

Van de tap op 18-4-2019 in Foeders samen met Huub. Mooi zwart, bruin schuim. In aroma caramel. Niet te zoet, weliswaar wat weinig nasmaak, maar toch een uitstekende stout.
