The nose has elements of citrus fruit, dank grapefruit and sweet malt. This IPA has a lot going on, with some sweetness, caramel malt and fresh, hoppiness. Grapefruit with a touch of orange and lemon with a clinging bitterness at the end. It is a touch oily (in a good way) with a sold blend and laudable freshness.

Old rating from 18-10-16 - A 355ml bottle brought in Whole Foods while in NYC. Pours a bright golden orange colour with a small foamy white head which leaves lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aromas of grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, tropical fruits, sweet candy, grass and dry hay. A comforting malty citrus backbone is present throughout with an initial taste of grapefruit, orange, and lemon, finishing with a hoppy grapefruit flavour that lingers, but does not dominate. Medium sweet aftertaste with a malty grapefruit medium hopped bitter finish. Overall, a very good fruity AIPA.

6er from the lcbo. Just slightly hazy orange/yellow pour, with a large, Rocky, pillowy white head. Aroma is sweet grapefruit flesh, honey, sweet malts, hints of caramel. Mouth feel is great, carb is good. Finish is again very grapefruit forward, but a touch sweet and sticky. Not as bright as I had expected. Instead of bright grapefruit oil, it's more of a sweet grapefruit juice/ flesh aroma and flavour. Making the beer heavier and less sessionable I find. Good, not great.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is fruity hoppy with strong grapefruit, grapefruit candy, juicy tropical fruits, soft pale malt, with a slight touch of pine resin. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a pretty potent bitter finish. Medium bodied. Lots and I mean lots of grapefruit juice with a potent bitterness, might be a little too heavy on the grapefruit candy for my a taste to be a true winner IPA. But I enjoyed it.
Grapefruity, fruity and bitter. A tad better than the Sculpin IPA
That is surprisingly good. The grapefruit is subtle but not too fruity as in a shandy. Great beer.

Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop Breda Netherlands and consumed at home Saturday 11th November 2023 listening to Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show and still making the Beef Rogan Josh it's taking a little longer than expected, I made a Vanilla Ice Cream Loz, we're also making Onion Bhajis for the curry and Baked Apples to go with my Ice Cream. Pours deep gold with a large white head. Loz doesn't like this at all, she couldn't get on with it. This is clearly a West Coast IPA but the Grapefruit flavouring which I don't mind but Loz struggled with is a very divisive thing. I find this a touch sweet, a little bit of a perfume edge, dry finish, a slight syrupy touch, good beer.
