Bottle at home. Darker orange color, medium sized off-white to beige head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma and flavor are heavy malty, syrupy sweet super malty and sticky hoppy, leaning towards a barleywine, piney hoppy. Typical almost over the top DIPA, but I still like this one. Medium to full body, average carbonation. 8-5-8-4-14.

On tap at Borefts After Festival Kaapse Brewery, Rotterdam, Netherlands, Sunday 23rd September 2018. Another heavy showers sort of day. Mid amber in colour with a sticky white head. A little stringy bitterness, this is a good DIPA, sorry that the review did not quite do it justice. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.7

Flaske fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Drukket på Lillehøgda. Mørk gylden. Nesten klar. Høyt luftig skum som daler sakte. Aroma av karamell & plommer. Myk munnfølelse. Fyldig. Mandler. Mørke plommer. Litt tørr avslutning. Alkoholsødme - men diskret.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A bubbly, filmy layer to an unclear golden-orange coloured body. Dotted spots on the glass. Dried fruity nose with hints of almond and alcohol. Mid-sweet orange flavours together with almond, apricot, and alcohol. Bittersweet ending with warmth from the alcohol. Medium bodied. Okay, too much alcohol for a higher score. (Tromsø 21.08.2018).

Bottle at Pivoteka. Full deep golden-amber body, white head, lovely caramel-driven malty aroma, some alcohol. Lovely caramel-driven clean malty taste, vaguely herbal in the finish, slightly astringent, bitterish, but mostly caramelly. Classy maltiness. Nice stuff.

On tap at de molen. Very intense, great big malt body and rather boozy. Bitter and bitter hop profile, dry bitter finish. Really nice, especially for the abv, but could be a bit fruitier. Nevertheless a really nice Imperial IPA.
