Cloudy appearance (drink it with the yeast!). Thick head that lasts. Fruity taste (bit of banana). Smooth and very drinkable. Re-rate tap: less carbonated as in the bottle. Yeastier. Yoghurt. The banana flavor now really steps forward.

Gekochte Früchte und herbe Noten. Die feinperlige Kohlensäure täuscht etwas mehr Substanz vor, als tatsächlich vorhanden ist. Nicht schlecht, aber ganz sicher keine Offenbarung in Sachen Weißbier. Großer Vorteil: Man bekommt es immer und überall, praktisch deutschlandweit.

0.5 l bottle at 'Letj Lembeck's'. Hazy, amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and a bit yeasty-spicy aroma of wheat, some banana and a touch of clove. Quite sweet, malty, slightly yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of banana, wheat, honey and some clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay Weizen, quite plain and way too sweet.

Bottle at Beefeater, Farnborough. Spice and herb aroma with a knowing hint of banana. Lightly hazy medium gold. Thick creamy foam head. Light bitter with a sweet and sour edge. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry finish. Service level. Certainly not as sweet as some Hefe offerings. 3.4
