From tap at Borefts 2016. Aroma is chewy dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee. Flavour is mildly sweet and bitter. Body is full. Not the most extreme or complex, but lovely smooth and drinkable, good balance.

Tap @ Borefts. Almost black. Hopjesvla in the maltaroma. Malty sweet, roasty caramelly flavor with licorice. Sticky but drinkable.

Draught @ 8th. BBF 2016 [ 8th Borefts Beer Festival 2016 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As De Molen Good & Bad ].Unclear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, wood. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, bread, light to moderate roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Borefts VIII. Day 1. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, a few tan bubbles. Palate is light and mildly dry. Smooth dark malts, little malt cream. Bitterish coffee. Some bourbon biscuit. Light dry finish. Never really takes off for me.

On tap at Borefts Bier Festival, 2016. Pours black with medium beige head. Roasted malts, chocolate, cocoa, sweet with some bitterness in finish. Warming, some alcohol is present. Medium to full bodied.

Sampled at Borefts 2016, Bodegraven. Pitch black pour with a thin tan head. Notes of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate. Thick bodied with a low carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel.

Thank you for sharing BE & friends RB Crew! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 2. Black, solid mocha head. Nose is sweet mocha, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is warming mocha, chocolate, low bitter coffee, cold coffee, thick bodied with low vanilla. Body is thick warming mocha, low nuts. Rich & very lovely. De Molen can still churn out a good thick RIS if they want to. This one is pretty similar to the others.
