(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, yellow colour with a big and fluffy white foam. Citrus-fruity and moderately wheaty aroma with distinctive notes of grapefruit and a slightly piney touch. Mildly bitter flavour, sursprisingly slim bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Fruity wheat-character with present notes of grapefruit and resiny hops; dry-ish fruity and piney hoppy finish. A tad slim but very aromatic. 12.X.11

Bouteille: Golden, almost clear with a greenish haze, mid-sized white fluffy head, quite stable, moderate resiny-grapefruity nose, wheaty traces underneath; dryish bitter-sourish flavour, pretty light bodied; citrussy-resiny finish, followed by a slight tartness and a touch of wheat. Good.......

Bottle. Pours yellow, hazy. Apricots, pineapple and some citrus notes in the aroma. The taste is very fruity, almost nectar-like. Small citrus-like sourness. Melon and apricot notes. Crisp american hoppiness in the finish. Very drinkable and unique.

Bottle from Au Grain d’Orge, Crissier
Cloudy blond color; generous head. Very nice hoppy aroma, fresh, fruity, delicate, with citrus fruits and passion fruit. The mouthfeel is very dry, and the body is weak; the wheat flavor is poor (paper-like); but the hopping is good, sharp, citrusy, and manages to raise the fate of this beer. The final is also a bit weak, but fresh.
Pleasant.

A golden ale with no head. In aroma, a sweet frankincense, creamy, curacao, not bad. In mouth, a smooth incensed saison with sweet creamy mouthfeel, field honey, not bad. Bottle at Mondiale 2011, June 10 2011.

Hazy golden coloured body with a large white head. Nice full flavour of coriander seed, strong hops and a good bit of honey. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavour with a lot of honey sweetness and a very mellow coriander seed freshness. Afteraste is mellow, clean and dry if anything, but fairly mild. Overall, pretty nice - definitely great to try with only mild flavours and some interesting hop tastes for the style. I sampled this beer on draught as 25 cL from Chez Moeder Lambic Fontinas in Bruxelles, Belgium on 01-January-2011 for €3,20.
