Historical braggot that has been found in archeological site from 1370BC in Egtved. The juicy bitterness of bog myrtle and lingonberries introduces the prehistoric drink, that is dominated by mild sweetness of wheat and honey, complemented by giddy notes of linden blossom and meadowsweet. The tart cranberries bring balance to this truly nordic tastescape.

Bottle @ Two More Beers, Riga. Slightly unclear golden body under a small white head making curtains at the glass. Aroma has honey, malt, herbs, oranges and flowers. Taste is sweet, smooth, medium complex with a fine honey, herb and oranges combination. Fine body with nice aftertaste. Pleasant.

50 cl bottle @ hotel room, Riga. BBE 07/2023 Aroma has odd gooseberry bush leaves and honey. Flavour has honey, bush leaves, some grapefruit and mild white wine tones. Probably haven't tasted a proper braggot before. Interesting.

Small white rim over fully hazy ochre beer, lively carbonated. Rosemary, honey, bog myrtle - as a walk around an Irish lough. Sweet-sourish in the most spectacular way. Lemon, kiwi, and again obviously bog myrtle, and indeed, recognisable, rode bosbes - cowberry - a blast from the past. Floral. Medium bodied, very light acidthinning. Feels better carbonated than it looks. This is not spectacular. But simply mind-blowing.

0.5l bottle, not on vid, but based on checklist. Smell- herbal, honey, lemon, mint, candy, interesting and nice, but weak. Foam- thin, sour, cranberry, some sweet notes, but mostly sour. Head is small creamy yellow white color. Appearance- hazy yellow, orange, carbonated, bubbles all around evenly distributed. Taste- cranberry, herbal notes, sourness, honey, lemon, citrus. Feels a lot like cranberry drink with carbonation and honey added to it, alcohol feel if present is killed by sourness. It is interesting, I do not actually like cranberry and sour beers in general, but this is is interesting, I would not buy again, but it was pleasant experience so score is somewhere in between.
