4th Sep 2017: Shrewsbury Bottle Share in Chez Sophie. Cheers Paolo for the 440ml can. Cloudy yellow/orange body, white bubbles on top. Pineapple and grapefruit, oranges and mango: we are talking fruity in both the aroma and taste. Easy to drink, far too easy for a 10% ABV beer.

Can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Sep 17, thanks to Paolo for this. Pours murky orange, thin white head. Vibrant exotic murk nose. Unbelievably light and fluffy for a 10% beer, truly mental. Soft with spicy orange, apricot, mango, lychee with the lightest alcohol tang. Ridiculously smooth & drinkable.

Keg at the hop locker. A clouded orange coloured pour with a a lasting sticky off white head. Aroma is big dank hop, bags of tangerine and pulped mango, doughy sweet wheat grains as well. Some waxy citrus orange on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of rounded semi sweet Base malts, wheat, big green hop character, onion, spicy orange and mango, little rubber. Mellow hop bitterness. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, slightly slick, frorhy carbonation and a nice easy finish. Grade a hop juice. Hides the alcohol very well.

Tap, at the Barrel Store. Milky, orange gold. Thin, dense, lasting, leggy, white head. Nose is big on the estery stone fruit. Squidgy plum and peach. Some savoury notes. A bit of onion, and dank and sweaty, fresh, green hop spice. Barely a trace of biscuit malts. Taste is sticky sweet, with minimal bitterness. Soft and creamy mouthfeel. Drinks like breakfast juice. Donโt know where the 10% went here. Finish loses the sweetness somewhat, with a stone fruit, estery bitterness lingering.
