33cl bottle from M/S Megastar. Pours clear golden with a white head. Fruity and yeasty aroma with typical Belgian blonde yeasty notes, bananas, wheat and hint of spices. Moderate to medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and fairly low bitterness. Quite drinkable.

From Amstein, St-Légier. Opening this bottle, two days ago, at home, after a moment spent in this too crowded Montreux Christmas market. Good ale brewed on the Belgian way, really smooth, fruity, peach, note of champagne, malt, wheat, bitter, good. 03.12.24

Bottle. Clear golden body with a white head. Aroma is fruity in general with a hint of yeast and esters. The taste is like a well made, balanced Belgium triple, subtle fruity but quite distinct at the same time, sweet pale malt, spicy, yeast, esters. It actually manage to give the typical sweet but dry feeling I get from a well brewed classic Tripple. Balanced in flavors and balanced in body. Nice, but I don’t get the Baltic thing here.

0.33 l bottle shared at home with my father. Pours very pale yellow with thin, persistent white head. Typical Belgian, fruity-flowery nose . Taste is quite the same, but a bit dull and something is a bit weird about it, but I'm not quite sure what it is. Slightly overcarbonated, has relatively light body and closes with sweet finish.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Not exactly what I expected from a "Baltic Ale". Aroma is yeasty with candied/ripe fruits, pale malt, and spicy notes. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Unremarkable, inferior in the style of Duvel, but drinkable.
