Bottle shared at home, courtesy of puttetjes. Dark amber with white head. Sweet malts, caramel toffee, old leaves, cloves, gumball coating. Quite sweet, bitter and hint of sour. Taster courtesy of Sander. Vintage 2009. brown color, very small tan head. smells ripe fruits, marzipan, nutty, sherry, caramel, light rum notes, spices. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of sherry, marzipan, nutty, earthy, light caramel, dried fruits, bit peppery. finishes lightly dry with notes of sherry, marzipan and nutty notes. quite good one, nice sherry and marzipan notes. good stuff.

Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een donkerbruin bier met medium schuimkraag. Het aoma is caramelachtig. De smaak is fruitig en caramelachtig.

Thuis uit een flesje, krachtig biertje. Je proeft tijdens het drinken niet het hoge abv (10%). Kleur valt een beetje tegen, zou donkerder, zwarter moeten zijn. Goede smaak, maar oppassen dus...

Bottle at The Fiddler, Den Haag. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is malt, red berry fruit, big alcohol, floral hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich fruity nutty alcohol bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours dark amber with whiteish-beige head. Aroma is sweet, caramel, cardboard, malt. Flavor is sweet, and bitter, caramel, sweat, cardboard, malt, sugar. Overall: drinkable. The previous beer (boon vat 109) was so much better that it’s realy hard to rate this one fairly...

Flesje thuis gedeeld met familie. Donkerbruin bier met matig schuim. Aroma is caramelachtig. Smaak van caramel en fruit. Nasmaak is iets bitter.
