Bottle courtesy of Jonas, cheers Jonas, had this at home Wednesday 2nd December 2020 listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session. Pours hazy, dirty apricot colour, slight white/off white head, plums offering up a nice fruitiness, good tang. Very nice beer.

Bottle from Bierkiste. Murky amber-purple despite standing upright in my fridge for ages, low offwhite head. Tart plum skin, mineral and grain aroma. Medium body, sparkly to mellow, clay, coppery notes, plums, light dry bretty notes, Zwetschgendatschi chewiness, dry finish.

330 ml bottle. Hazy amber with a big stable foamy head. Barnyard, fermented hay, dried plums, quince, nutmeg, clove and some cinnamon, some funk, apple wine. Tart sourness, slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture, fizzy carbonated, dry finish. Quite interesting and nice however using another fruit (e.g. raspberry) instead of plums would have been even better.

Starke Karbonisierung. 9/10/11/11/10/11

330ml bottle (7% ABV); BB 2nd Oct 2020. Obtained from Chez Sophie and drank at home during the virus Lock In, 6th May 2020. Purple hue to the dirty dishwater coloured body, lasting white head. The nose is yeasty and plumy, taste also leads with yeastiness and semi-sweet, semi-tart plum flavours. Needed some 'crumble' on top!

Bottle at home in the garden, 5th April 2020. Pours a smoothy looking dirty brown colour, big head. Aroma is fruity, some yeast. Taste is macerated fruit, quite sweet, light yeast, breast, lack of clarity and brightness of the fruit and the beer in general, thickish mouth feel, it’s not what I expected, not much tartness from the plums, and some what lacks direction and bite.

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Hazed golden appearance, good white head. Aroma is yeasty, lightly spicy. Taste is smooth, doughy sweet yeast, very light plum presence, expected more after the vibrant blackcurrant of the Imperial Fil. Some soft funk, distant spice. Fine but a little more flavour definition would be welcome.
