Fles thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een goudgeel bier met een wit schuim. Het aroma is gistachtig en wat wrang. De smaak is moutig, kruidig en Brut achtig.

Tap. Golden color. Grapes and a hint of yeast in the aroma. Malty sweet, yeasty flavor with grapes. Rounded, but slightly alcoholic.

Tap at Hoptic festival. Bit hazy golden with white head. Indeed some champagne and white grapes, sweet malts, light alcohol, star fruit, milky grains, dry grassy. Does taste like a champagne beer... Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with sparkly carbonation and dry champagne body.

Bottle. Golden pour. Aroma of yeast ester, champagne, apple, malt, orange and white grape. Taste has juicy wine most, white grape, yeast esters, apple, champagne, orange, citrus and a little booze. Interesting flavors, champagne yeast and nelson sauvin work well together.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before October 2020. A bit hazy, golden amber with a thin, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy, floral and slightly vinous aroma of white grapes, gooseberry and some lemon peel. Minimally sweet, slightly sourish, fruity, vinous, moderately floral and a bit yeasty taste of white grapes, lemon peel, gooseberry and some wood, followed by a medium long, fairly dry, slightly tart, moderately bitter and a bit grassy finish. Medium body, a little astringent and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Really nice beer, a Belgian Strong ale with a pleasant vinous character, very well-balanced and easy to drink. I must admit that I didn't expect that much and I'm quite surprised how well it turned out.
