Poured from 375mL bottle (batch #3). Dark purple with small white head. Overly acidic, mild blueberry, unbalanced, some decent quality, but acidity is overwhelming.

375ml (thx, Brent!) @ Ryan's. Blend 3. Appearance: purple brown with a tan head. Aroma: berries, barrel, some acetone. Taste: VERY acidic, there are quite a few berries when you drink it, but the acidity is killing everything else. Overall: an acid bomb, f$%& this sh$1.

Blend 3. Murky sort of purplish colour. The aroma is full of blueberries. On the palate, this is absolutely bracing. I mean there's fruit but you can't really process it. Definitely well into vinegar territory here. I mean some decent fruit and complexity but overly sour.

375mL bottle, pours a deep dark red / burgundy with a small white head. Aroma reveals plenty of red wine barrels, low level funk, and very subdued blueberry skins. Flavour is bracingly sour -- holy shit -- that's some enamel-stripping stuff. There's, I guess, some red wine; not getting any blueberries or anything deeper. This is just abrasively sour. There's some complexity to it, but Jesus, this is harsh and difficult to drink.

This screams acetic acid. Itβs almost vinegar, would make a great salad dressing. As it warms, the blueberry comes out more.
