Can @ Patricks. Slightly unclear deep golden body under a big, creamy white head. Aroma of malt and ripe citric fruit. Taste is malty with biscuit, mature citric fruit, marmalade and pleasant bitterness. Distinct but well balanced in taste. The high alcohol content is well camouflaged, feel tasty and slightly warm with a bitter finish. Nice old school DIPA for grown-ups.

Can after fine dancing at HopDog. Amber, slightly cloudy. Fresh hay and late summer garden maracuja milk. Soft smooth and a decent bitterness, that balances the sweetness. Like it.

Can, as Imperial IPA, 10 months old. Light hazy dark golden, big golden lace. Somewhat oldschool pine, orange marmelade, grapefruit, ketchup, farty phenols. Medium full, sticky pine resin, orange marmelade, kiwi peel, prison hooch, phenolic, not super pleasant.

Can. Rather clear amber color with white head. Aroma is caramel, piney and resinous. Taste is the same, boozy. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. A bit over the top, not a fan.

Tall can from Brewcraft at home after Ocean Park. Clear dark amber pour with puffy white head. Aroma is grassy dank pine and lots of spicy and biscuity malt. Taste is lots of brassy malt with classic IPA pine forward bitterness. Some grapefruit. The malt is quite pronounced - bread, biscuit, and with an almost metallic twang. Palate is medium. Finish is bitter and biscuity. In a sea of juicy hazy IPAs it’s nice to return to something like this, more of a classic west coast profile (or Michigan profile?) with a ton of malt too.

Optisch Kupfer, schöner Schaum. In der Nase hopfig, harzig. Im Trunk erdig, Pinien, dann leicht alkoholisch, waldig, harzig, eher dunkle Noten. Guter Absacker, lecker.
