Honeyed malty flavours with syrup and herbal notes. Malt-driven sweetness to the ending. Okay, but much too sweet in the long run. (PivotekaH7, Tromsø 12.07.2018).

0.33 l bottle from CBF Vienna 2018 at 8.5% abv, best before August 2018. Almost clear, deep reddish amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish, spicy, moderately fruity and a little smoky aroma of juniper, caramel, red fruits and a touch of orange peel. Moderately sweet, just slightly bitter, rather spicy, malty, slightly fruity and a little smoky taste of caramel, red fruits, lots of juniper, orange peel and a touch of peat, followed by a medium long, just slightly bitter, rather spicy and minimally smoky finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, almost flat. Nice juniper Ale, well-drinkable and not too sharp.

0,1l from tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava shared with Sander. copper hazy color, small white head. smells strong of resin, forest, pines, light citrus, earthy. nice smell. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of resin, pines, earthy, spices, juniper, doughy, peppery. finishes lightly dry with notes of resin, pines and juniper notes. rather nice one overall, rather resiny and forest (wood) like. not like other sathis I had before 7, 4, 7, 3, 13
