Poured from a bottle courtesy of CatMan. Aroma is interesting with cinnamon and quite a bit of dark chocolate. Some light roast notes. Moderate coffee notes. Light alcohol spice. Pours black with a small, thick, dark mocha head that quickly recedes and disappears. No lacing with a sheet of alcohol. Flavor is very chocolate forward with balanced cinnamon and coffee notes. Some light roast and medium bitterness. Some light alcohol spice. Medium sweetness with a bit of a sticky finish. Mouthfeel is medium full to full bodied with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice stout with balanced cinnamon notes. Great chocolate notes, but the coffee is a bit too far in the background for my preferences. Good sweetness without being overly sticky.
