Our Pils owes its nobility to the unique composition of hops used in its production. We use as many as 3 varieties of hops: Lubelski and Sybilla first and then, in the final stage, the beer is cold hopped with noble Żatecki hops, all of which enables Łomża Pils to achieve the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness.

March 2018, as Łomża Pilsener. 500 ml can, from Edeka Sophienhof, Kiel. ABV is 5.7%. Crystal clear golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish herbal and grassy aroma. Fizzy mouthfeel. The flavour is medium sweet and slightly citric, with moderate herbal hops.

Bottle. Bee Polska, Darnall. Fresh in and packaged very recently. Imagine a Polish Jever. That’s this that is. Punchy grassy hop. Smooth and clean. Does the job at 6%. Fridge filler at £2.19 a go.

Can from Lidl Garching. Full clear golden body, huge head, almost gushing. Immediate oxidation in the aroma. There's some cheap grainy notes as well among the dust and cardboard. Sweet, stale, musty taste, medium body, vaguely herbal, maybe trace floral, very low bitterness, some acetaldehyde/apple. Yeah, this probably wasn't great to begin with and this can is likely odd and mishandled. Nah, even Van Pur usually does better, and the insanity of putting this on the *German* market of all places...

Bottle, 6%. Good floral hop aroma. Clear golden colour. Small fizzy white head. The flavour is very malty, almost sugary with a floral hop note. Fairly low bitterness which does not balance off the sweetness. Hard carbonation. I do not think it qualifies as a pils in spite of its name, but I quite like it.

[50cl bottle from Mleczko, Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a loose white head; grainy aroma; sweet grainy taste; with a short burst of grassy bitterness; then a sweet and flabby grain finish with a chemical aftertaste.

Nawet fajne sporą piana. Chmielnosc średnia, ale jak to na pilsnera przystało dobrze odfermentowane. Mało słodowe, musujące, naturalne takie na upał w sam raz

Can picked up somewhere random and consumed at home Sunday 31st October 2021 listening to John Grant - Boy From Michigan, about to cook a Lasagna with Mushrooms and Red Peppers. Pours gold with a white head, good clarity, sweet, grainy, surprise at 5.7% abv tastes weaker. Overall very pedestrian.
