Bottle. Copper color, no head. Aroma of malt, raisin and booze. Taste is mostly booze, malt and raisin. Warm boozy finish. This needs more taste and depth, it’s too simple.

Bottle from Burg Bieren, BB 12 2019, large sample. Clear amber color with some debris floating around, medium frothy off-white head. Aroma of caramel, slight roast, bit spicy, hint of raisin, slight fruity. Medium sweet in taste, slight bitterness, marmelade. Bit sirupy texture, slight alcoholic in the finish. Feels like a la trappe quad almost, but a bit thicker and less easy to drink, more a big sipper. Seems to be more spicy and less clean than usual. Ok stuff.
