Imperial Brown Ale with Chestnuts. We did this for no reason. So under no circumstances are you to expect anything. Except a rich, chocolaty and nutty, barrel aged brown ale. Jorge pours dark and roasty, so don’t be alarmed when you ask for another. It’s not you, it’s Jorge.

Caňa en el Lúpulo Oviedo 05..05..2017. (r03). Color marrón oscuro casi negro turbio con poca espuma beige. Sabores alcoholicos licorosos, ligeras maltas tostadas algo quemadas caramelizadas con toques de castaňas ligeramente amargas y algo de frutos secos. Maderas empapadas en licor. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica alicorada, líquido y con notas de bourbon. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda.

Sampled from tap at ’Craftbeer Corner Coeln’. Slightly hazy, dark reddish brown with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly boozy and a little fruity aroma of caramel, vanilla, whisky and some raisins. Rather sweet, malty and slightly boozy taste of caramel, lots of vanilla, honey, whisky, some raisins and a touch of oak, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly warming-alcoholic and a little woody finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty!

Süßer, wenig karbonisierter Antrunk. Leicht herb, mittelstarke Würzigkeit. Alkoholisch, zum Ende Schokolade. Okay. 10/8/9/8//8
