33cl can from the Beer52 box for May. A slightly hazy straw coloured pour with a tight cream coloured head; rather weak tropical fruit aroma; thin in the mouth with a tropical fruit squash taste, predominantly pineapple; then a bready finish that is lifted by some gingery spice.

Hazed golden color with a fine head. Good lacing. Looks good. Decent intensity in the aroma. Fine carbonation level. Easy and pleasant to drink. Ok balanced sweetness. A bit thin texture. Fruity, malty and mild hoppy flavor. Ok session ale in the heat.

hazy golden beer, decent frothy white head though that soon disappears. Smells of grass, pine and tropical fruit. Tastes of the same, with a bit of dry maltiness and some smooth caramel. This is a superb session beer and you could really drink this all day.

Can from Appellation Wines Comely Bank. Appearance - golden with a generous fluffy head. Nose - canned pineapple, meadow flowers and an underlying nettle/resin thing. Taste - melon, pineapple and then a tasty dry grassy finish. Palate - light bodied, creamy and long and dry on the finish. Overall - lovely balance, this one!

Can from Cork & Cask, Edinburgh. It pours bright golden with a decent white head. The aroma is doughy white bread, touch of butter, grainy, grass andlemon. The taste is dry, fairly harsh bitterness, pithy, soapy citrus, soda water, grassy, lemongrass, graininess, minerals and tannin with a lingering dry finish. Light body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A bit harsh, grainy and watery. Not a great combo really.

Can at home in Hackney - care of Matteo! Pours clear yellow-gold with a frothy, pure white head. The nose has some pithy lemon, citrus peel, hay. Light sweet flavour, fairly buttery, with a bit of grassy bitterness, doughy pale bread, some further citrus peel. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more grassy bitterness, lemon rind, more buttery notes, straw, husky pale grains. Not the best.

30th Oct 2017. 330ml can: BB 28th Feb 2019. Shared at the monthly beer exchange in Chez Sophie. Cheers Simon for this one. Poured a misty light golden colour, white head. Aroma was hoppy with a citrus leaning. The taste I thought bland, slightly fruity, again leaning towards citrusy notes. Not a great APA compared to most I have encountered so far.

330ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 17 Part 2, courtesy of Simon. Many thanks! Pours a misty golden yellow, small white head. Aroma has prominent fruity citrus, pineapple, grapefruit. Taste bears some pleasant fruity traits, although perhaps not as vibrant as the nose, but still quite pleasant and fruity. Decent 3.9% and no mistake.
