Bottle shared by TomHendriksen. Dark red color, huge foamy beige head. Smell and taste malts, nutty, iron, iron bitterness, malty bitter and something odd I can't put my finger on. Decent body and average carbonation. Mwah. 6-4-6-3-12.

Fles gedeelt met Benzai en Thompson. Het is een troebel bruin bier met een crème schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat caramelachtige geur. De smaak is moutig, zacht hoppig zoet en wat chocolade achtig.

0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierboutique’, bottled in August 2016. Clear, very dark red with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, raisins and some nuts. Quite sweet, malty and a bit fruity taste of caramel, nuts and some raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly roasty and a bit yeasty finish. Medium body, slightly oily and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not bad, just a bit one-dimensional.
