Sour cherry and wood aroma. Cherry taste of source, well balanced between sourness and sweetness, with some wood and leather touches.

Tap at Frisches. Darkest red, nearly opaque. Nose is black currants, blueberry, black berry, oat milk, caramel milk. Taste is soft und full and round and sparkly, full body, tart fruity berries, chalky aftertaste/mouthfeel. Nice.

Intense red fading into the lightest brown. At most one finger of large meshed off-white head, fast disappearing. A pleasantly soft, though not especially complex aroma: a doughy, milk bread like base with a bit of wet woodiness. Fruity notes of cherries and lighter citric hints. Suggesting a moderately sour beer. Taste notes as per aroma. There's quite some sweetness with a soft/wet wood feeling and delicate sourness. Delicate but quite rich: mainly lactic, lightly citric, possibly the slightest acetic hint. Closes fairly dry, especially per style. Light to medium bodied with very delicate carbonation. Somehow still feels fuller than you'd expect for the abv and light carbonation, with a hint of softness/creaminess. Highly drinkable and very well balanced.

Taster at the Mikkeller bar, Copenhagen. Pours clear red-brown with a thin beige head. Aromas are sour cherry and strawberry, some funky year and wood. Taste sweet and dry. Funky finish.

5,6% ABV.
