750ml bottle courtesy of Kostas brewer at Kykao Brewery, Patras, Greece consumed at home in the company of Xenofon and Anastasia, Wednesday 23rd December 2020 listening to Craig Charles standing in for Steve Lamaq on 6 Music, we have Mexican Meatballs for tea tonight. Pours dark gold edging towards orange/light amber, head white in colour. Not getting too much pomegranate on the nose, however it is clean, berries, fresh and spritzy. Taste following on from the nose displays similar characteristics, nice tangy bittersweet fruity bite, refreshing, touch thin but to be expected re: abv, good beer.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks Tom L. Clear golden. Lacto, fruitiness, a bit of pomegranate, mildly sourish and slightly sweetish, graininess, lemony note. OK.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow with white ring. Aroma is light pomegranate. Taste is tart fruit berry, pomegranate finish is wet.

27 September 2019. Tap at RIDE Cafe, Chania, Crete. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours hazy orange with a quicky thinning, frothy, white head. Aroma of young yellow apple, pineapple, lemon, pomegrenate, starfruit, wheat. Taste is light to medium fruity sour, starfruit & gooseberry pairing with sweetish apple & pear, a bit lemony, wheaty & bready accents; very faintly bitter in the tart, wheaty finish, lingering unripe fruit, bread & very faint hops. Medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation. Balanced summer BW indeed.

hazy yellow, small white head. mild hoppy aroma with pine and grapefruit, also some herbal freshness. Mild salty flavor with a mild, quite dry malty background. high carbonation but otherwise mouthfeel is a bit thin. Very quenching, notes of lemongrass, great summer drink.

Taster @ The Hoppy Pub. Golden and pink color, pinkish foam. Aroma: grapefruit and pomegranate, a little sourness and spices. Taste: slightly sour, pomegranate, refreshing, invigorates, good for summer.

From tap at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Hazy pinkish orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, grassy, citrus, floral, pomegranate notes indeed, wheat. Sweet and bitter taste. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.

2/7/2019. Tap at the Strange Brew Taproom, Athens. Pours hazy orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of pomegranate, citrus, vanilla custard, flowers, sour berries and light herb. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light tartness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Nice tart/sweet mix to finish. Nicely drinkable.
