"Heerlijk Limburgs". The city beer of Hasselt, launched in 2014 in collaboration with Pieter Coopmans of Herkenrode and brewed (at Anders) with only local Herkenrode barley and starch-rich water from seitan makery Maya from Hasselt.

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Streekbierweekend 2014. thx! for sharing people. Clear orange / citrus, little white head. Nose is metallic, lemon, aspirin,… Aspirin, chemical taste, sweetish, malt, fizzy lemon, sweetish, citrus, white sugar, spice,… Fizzy. Eh…

Ppurs clearer yellow , rather small white head Smell is grainy Taste is bitter , spices Not much aftertaste . Bit sweet . Ok .

9/III/14 - 33cl bottle from Diesters Bierfestival 2013 @ home - BB: II/2015 (2014-270)

Clear blond beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, citrus, some hay, grains, bit malty, bit grassy. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, grassy, hops, pretty fruity, some grains, bitter. Aftertaste: bitter hops, grassy, some citrus, yeasty, bit dirty, bread touch, some banana.
