Bottle from Beyond Beer, Hamburg. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, some coffee, caramel, lightly burnt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. A pretty good Schwarz, burnt and roasty.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Black colored brew with an very dry bitter taste, hints of roasted malts and cold coffee.

Draught at Oorlam: pours brown with a beige head. Aroma is slightly nutty, some chocolate. Taste is slightly sweetish, nutty finish. Fine.

Tap at Lager Lager. Coffee, citric notes, chocolate, bit dried fruit in the aroma. Lean, dry, chocolatey taste, creamy, leaning on dog food but not going there, mild roast, prickly carbonarion. Tasty stuff!

Dark brownish color and a nice tan head. Restrained nose, roasted malts. Taste is roasty, malty, decent hoppy.

Dark ruby red approaching black. Pours with a tan porous head, shrinks to a few mm but then persists. Coffee and co2 on the nose, some nut, very faint dark fruits. Over carbonated, but a nice coffee bitterness breaks through. Just enough sweetness and a lingering malty hoppy bitterness. Well balanced, but could have done with a hint more body and less carbonation to beef it up. Still good.
