“STS” is the 3-letter code for our local Sonoma County airport, the Charles M. Schulz Airport. STS Pils is a classic German-style pilsner but with a Russian River twist because we dry hop this beer with a small amount of European hops. It is straw in color and will often have a slight haze due to the fact that there is a small amount of yeast left in the beer. This beer is hop-forward with a firm malt foundation, strong lager yeast characteristic, and a dry, bitter finish.
A truly great Pilsner is a difficult beer to perfect, as its light crisp flavor profile leaves little room for error. Modern brewing techniques (such as open-top fermentation) and old-world traditions create the distinct qualities in STS Pils.

Aromas are malt, wet grain, grass, spice. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, sweet up front with growing bitter, just right carbonation and full body, Bittersweet finish. good beer.

bottle. hazy yellow pour with a big foamy whiye head that has decent retention. The aroma is soft and understated with hay, straw, thyme. Taste is grains, mild peppery spice, and crackers. Palate is crisp and clean. Finishes short, dry and clean. Overall. Decent pils--will buy arain.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Malibu. Wrapping up the last night in LA. Pours a clear golden straw with a finger of white head that lingers. Classic pils with excellent peppery notes and a dry, bitter finish. Could drink this all night.

Bottle. Golden beer with a whitish head. Light hay aroma. Malt and hay flavor with light mineral and light grass. Medium bodied. Malt and grass linger with light mineral notes.
