Draft @ the brewery. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty rye aroma. Fruity malty spicy yeasty peppery flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty rye finish.

[1/27/17] Draught at Woods Bar & Brewery in Oakland. Hazy golden. Fruity and phenolic yeasty aroma, a bit soapy. Sweetish-spicy fruity yeasty flavor, bitterish finish.

From tap at the brewpub. Hazy golden orange color with off white head. Malty and hoppy aroma, caramel, grass, citrusy fruity, orange, spicy notes. Sweet and bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a hazy yellow orange with medium white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is pepper, yeast, rye. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, fruity, dry finish, good.

On tap at Woods. It pours a lightly hazed orange gold color with an off white head. The aroma is fruity with berries, peach and mango. The flavor has lots of peach and stone fruit. Juicy melon notes as well. Low bitterness. This doesn’t really seem like a rye beer to me. Very juicy without any of the resinous, toasted, syrupy character that I usually get. That’s a good thing. Enjoyable stuff.
