[1/27/17] Draught at Faction Brewing in Alameda. Brown. Smoky aroma, a bit of sausages, caramel, a bit of roast. Sweetish flavor with roast, caramel, some smokiness, moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Pretty nice.

From tap at the brewery. Dark copper brown color with off white to beige head. Maly aroma, roasted, grain, bread, dark fruits, caramel, cola. Moderate sweet and light bitter taste. Light to medium oily body with soft carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark amber with small off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is toasted malt and earth. Medium body, licorice, toasted malt, bitter finish, very good.
