Creamy lightbrown excellent fully lasting head. Dark brown colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy chocolate aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Raspberry not very present, but slightly acetic. Moderate bitter average finish. Oily palate.

Bottle, 750 ml, courtesy of Miro B. Shared with him, Max and Vran. Black with beige head. Roasted malts, chocolate, some raspberries, smooth, sweet. Medium bodied. Somewhat thin.

(Draught at Muted Horn, Berlin, 20 July 2018) Dark brown colour, almost black, with creamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, raspberries and coffee. Roasted, malty taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, slightly tart raspberries and a mild cacao bitterness. More than medium body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a slight raspberry sourness. Nice one.

Bottle from the LCBO. Been sitting on this a while so, it's over a year old. Pours a clear very dark mahogany under a large slow fading khaki head.. Nose is Raspberry, chocolate, raspberry, some coffee, raspberry, brown sugar, raspberry, plum, raspberry, light bread and some raspberry. Light+ brown sugar and molasses sweetness with a medium raspberry tartness and medium- coffee and chocolate bitterness. Mouth is medium and creamy with soft carbonation and a tart finish. This one seems to have divided some folks, but I come down on the 'Pro' side. 8/4/7+/3+/16

Bottle from Saveur Biere. Hazy very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, cheap chocolate and raspberries. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 140118

At Hopishop 2017. Aroma of chocolate, raspberry and some caramelised malt. Taste has nice fruity raspberry, creamy chocolate, sugary ripe fruit and malt. Nice.

750ml bottle at Brian's office. Pours a redish dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is quite pleasant with raspberries and chocolate notes. Similar taste. Not bad, but a bit artificial.
