Named in honor of British. In 1842 a brewery was founded to brew ginger beer for the soldier. Corfu beer has recreated the idea and turned it into a low alcohol refreshing drink best served very chilled. Perfect for the long summer days !!

60% Gingerbeer (water, sugar, ginger), 40% Beer.

A bottle in Corfu, summer of 2017. Hazy golden to orange, small off-white head. Lemon cake or something. Sweet, some odd flavours come up, fruit juice or lemon juice. Light body, fake feeling, light finish. Maybe the worst!

KØLF 190816. Golden-yellow color wit a white head. Aroma is ginger, sugar, lemon. Flavor is ginger, lemon, sugar. Weird beer.

330 ml bottle @ Old Garden, Parga. Not much of a beer really, but actually a nice flavor and damned refreshing served ice cold on the beach with ice cubes. Normally not my style this, but I’m found of ginger and lemon – mixed emotions! Unclear yellow with a fading white head. Aroma is ginger and lemon, and just that! The flavor is like the aroma, not too sweet and dangerously refreshing, however not much of a beer.

330 ml bottle at home. Pale yellow golden color light hazy with small off white head that disappears quickly. Spicy and citrusy fruity aroma - lemon, caramel - sugary notes too. Sweet taste like aroma. Light thin to oily body with average carbonation.

Süß säuerlicher Zitronen Antrunk mit erkennbarem Ingwer Anteil. Limoartig, erfrischend, natürlich. Gut. 6/9/9/8/9/9
