500ml bottle. Cloudy, dark golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, white head. Wheaty and slightly fruity aroma, hints of banana, a touch of lemon. Taste is moderately sweet, wheaty, minimally bready, fruity, hints of banana, a lemon dash, leafy hoppy overtones. OK.

Bottle from a Cologne kiosk. Shared and enjoyed whilst sat overlooking the Rhein. Pours a cloudy yellow/gold with a decent sized white head. Aroma of caramel, wheat and banana. Medium sweet, little by way of bitterness, very light sourness. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation. Finish is caramel, moderate sweetness, touch soapy. Liked this.

Bottle on holiday. Unclear orange color, quickly disappearing fizzy off-white head. Aroma is banana, yeast, lightly herbal, a hint of citrus peel. Tastes almost the same: yeast, lightly wheat, lightly vegetal, lightly citrus peel and unripe banana. Average body and carbonation. Quite crappy, even for a weizen.

Swing top bottle at Cologne. Murky brown yellow color, medium-sized head. Aroma has overriped banana and bubblegum. Light to medium-bodied. Overriped banana, hay and metal in the dryish flavor. Not very special.

On tap at Hellers Brahaus, Koln, Germany, Saturday 29th March 2014 Pours cloudy yellow at first I detect a light sour unripe fruity edge on the nose which actually doesn’t materialise in the mouth, in fact it surprises me as it is jolly pleasant. I have enjoyed all of the Hellers beers this afternoon. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

--> sehr enttäuschend! Test vom 10.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,4,10,3,13,5 - 6,40

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Golden colour with some hazy, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is citrus fruits, mild banana, some yeast, wheat and mild herbal notes. Flavour is rather similar, but still leave the palate rather thin.
