Hop Slangin’ is jam packed with Nelson Sauvin, Galaxy, and Simcoe hops for aromas of mango and overripe passion fruit, lychee and rambutan, pine, and a slight diesel character from the Nelson Sauvin. The flavor is a burst of resinous pine and juicy ripe stonefruit all supported by the peppery, oily rye. Slang some hops in yo’ face!

Love the Nelson dose here. It's pretty well blended with the other hops but still sticks its head out. Grapefruit and light pine. Pours murky yellow with decent head. Light bitter end. Tap at Dominion.

Poured from an undated 16 oz can.
Aroma is hop forward and fairly fruity with balanced dank, oily notes as well. Lots of gooseberry, tropical citrus, passion fruit, guava and grapefruit. Quite a bit of nelson sauvin dank, oily, resin notes with some lighter pine notes. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes.
Pours a hazy, murky, golden orange with a large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Moderately high lacing and small legs.
Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Medium high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Quite a bit of grapefruit and tropical citrus with lighter notes of gooseberry, passion fruit and guava. Lighter dank, oily resin notes with some pine as well.
Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid hazy IPA. Great hop aroma, but I wish the flavor was a bit more nelson forward. Balanced malt notes and bitterness. Alcohol is fairly well hidden.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. The nose holds dry citrus, pale bread, light pine. Moderately sweet, with nice and juicy and pithy citrus fruits. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pithy finish, lightly piney and grassy, more tangerine. Great stuff.

Poured up on tap at Rare Barrel where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up pulsing mango, cantaloupe and pineapple with some spicy onion dankness in the background. The taste is deep and involved with juicy mango flowing into bitter spicy onion notes rimmed with bitter grapefruit. It dries out some into the finish. Wonderful. Another sip and the mango and tropical fruit notes rush at you. I dig this.
