Doesn’t taste as bad as it smells.

1st June 2015: 330ml green bottle sat outside ’A Taste of Greece’ in Laguna Niguel while waiting for a take away. Golden and bright pour, weak un-lasting white head. Corn aroma and taste: poor and basic. Just a boring lager/pilsner based beer that lacks interest or character.

Location: 12 oz bottle at a Greek restaurant, 7/30/14

Aroma: The nose is fairly typical pale lager, grainy, some lemon notes, grass, and a little bread
Appearance: This one pour a clear golden-yellow color with a fizzy head on top of it
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, clean, with a little sweetness, and a mild bitterness
Palate: The body is light, but not as watery as some of the style, with a lively-to-fizzy carbonation
Overall Impression: This one was pretty much what I expected, while at the same time being a little better. Maybe I just really was in the mood for a light, easy drinking beer, but this one hit the spot.

33cl bottle pours with a clear deep gold yet watery body and almost no head. The aroma puts off sweet creamed corn and some mild floral hop notes. The taste is similar as you’re greeted by a big dose of sweet creamed corn. It then slides into sugary malt sweetened subtle floral hops. Behind those notes are sweet fruity esters like honey covered apples wedges and pears. A bit less sweet and this might not be too hateful.

Pale Yellow, Small Head, Little Lacing. Sweet, Grainy Aroma. Grainy, Corn, Skunk. No surprises, Green Bottle is dead give away.Even with low expectations, it was pretty bad. Pretty much bought it only because of the name... Pass It...

Beer three of World beer Sunday imported from Greece. Pours a deep golden color with a decent white head that displays minimal retention and lace. Smells of bready malts with a hint of melanoid, smells quite German actually. This initially opened with intense aroma of skunk, but over the couple of minutes as I pulled up the listing those aromas are all but gone. Taste is caramel and burnt sugars, bready malt and little to no hop flavor. Medium body and level of carbonation with a sweet almost sticky mouthfeel. This one wasn’t half bad, or maybe it was just that much better than the last one. Sweet and malty almost to a fault and I could have used a few more hops.

Bottle. Pours pale clear straw yellow. Nose and taste of corn, barley and water. Predictable and unoffensive.

bottle - Pours near clear yellow with a one finger white head. It smells of grainy malt and cheap hops. It tastes like a standard, cheap euro lager, it even comes in a green bottle, with sweet grainy malt and light hops. Light bodied. Bland. Meh.

Green bottle: Completely skunked aroma. Clear yellow, no head. Sour lemon and corn flavor. Cardboardy. The sourness was ok, but otherwise I see no point in drinking it.
