Bottle. Pours a pale golden with a medium frothy white head. The aroma is a skunky corn malt. Thin mouthfeel and a bit watery on the palate with a skunky wheat grass taste. Very hard to put down with a bad aftertaste. Avoid this one.

Golden colour with a slight haze. Herbal and spicy aroma but also with some hop notes that conjure mildew. Wet grain? Light malt character. Light bitterness. Spicy hop...a little watery. Typical Greek lager.

Bottle from Friar Tuck in St. Louis MO. Pale golden color with an ok frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, but seems slightly skunked (green bottle). Medium body with sharp but mild carbonation. Flavor is without skunk at first, with malt and noble hop in good balance. But then a skunk hint seems to show up. Even if it’s not skunked, it’s a bit unusual. Suggests a lightly bready German pilsener, with a lot of noble hop, but it has a different sort of spice than I am familiar with. A bit of a puzzler.

Let’s go visit Greece. 11 oz green bottle with a date code to use before 5/07. Purchased at the Evergreen in Rochester for $3.50. I was expecting a skunk aroma when I opened this but it had none. The only aroma it has is of uncooked bread dough with a little fruity perfuminess to it, pleasantly pleasing. The appearance is that of your typical pale yellow american lager but I think there is just a slight haze to it. The head is just a tea froth. Very little impact on the first taste, it is well behaved like a gentleman. Very lager like to say the least. Has some manners that are hard to find in many beers today. There is some mild pilsner bitterness that builds on the back of the throat as you continue to drink. Cannot taste much alky in here, it is well hidden. The back of the throat bitterness levels continues to rise and now I think I can detect some metallic hints in the flavor. Except for that odd building metallic pilsner bitterness, this beer is not too bad. As you finish this bottle the interesting bitterness seems to be the overwhelming attribute, tho not like the acrid bitter bite that is so common with many pale ales, this is more like the taste associated with a good pilsner. Many cheap american pale lagers match this in flavor and are much cheaper, Schmidt’s and Old German come to mind. However, good to try once and if it was not so expensive, I would not hesitate to buy again.

Slightly hazy pale golden color with a medium creamy white head. Sweet aroma of grain and grass. Sweet flavor with some light bittering and a grassy end.

Bottle. Not that bad of a drink. Poured much like regular old beer. A little dry, but the finish is actually quite nice. Drink this with some nice greek food and you’ll be set.

Pour is a clear yellow with a very small white head. Aroma is a horrible burnt skunk. Looking at the beer again there is no carbination what so ever. Taste is flat as well. The best i can describe it is a sweet malt syurp. Why do i keep getting Greek beers?

Not really great, but about what I'd expect from a plain lager from overseas. Tastes like any other plain lager from overseas. Had a little fruity flavor to it but that was all I could find to comment on.
