0,33l bottle at home shared with Simay. BB 03/2016. redish brown clear color, quite small tan head. smells malty sweet, acidic, citric, bread, some tobacco notes, light plums. OK smell. light to medium body, medium carbonation, oily / sticky mouthfeel. tastes malty sweet, a lot of it, some honey notes, molasses, a bit flowery, plums, also some citric notes. finishes sticky sweet with brown sugar and molasses. has a bit of depth to it, but it all gets drowned in the sticky sugary notes. I am not totally opposed to some sweetness in beers, but this one is just too much.

Bottled(500ml). -Nice shiny ruby coloured, small off-white head, caramel malty nose. The taste is almost similar; sweet malty, light caramel and fruity with notes of raisins and brown sugar. Average dunkel.

Bottle courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who found it in Wien (thanks!). Poured an extremely dark red body with almost no head. Light malty nose with some notes of raisins. Sweet malty taste, very light caramel... as soon as I saw that it was 12.4°/4.1% I knew what was in store for us. It does manage to avoid being as bad as most others of this style. It’s not as cloying and there are some very light notes of lemon drops that save the day. No bitterness of course. Ok for what it is.
