(Bottle 33 cl) Amber coloured, slightly hazy with almost no head. Sweetish caramel notes with a very limited bitterness. Fruity notes from the top fermenting malt. 010903

[At Fete de la Biere 2004, Lausanne] An amber beer with a fine lasting beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy. The flavor is sweet with caramel dominating.

Plain looking amber ale with a generally dry aroma that has a touch of malt finish. The flavour is quite odd as it dry and whisky like. Overall quite a poor malt whisky style drink.

Best before March 2004. Probably 2003 bottle. Pours like a light honey orange tea, with a decent sized white head. Extra clear, filtered. Aroma is standard for a belgian amber, light yeast, some caramel and a hint of hops. Began astringent, dry and harsh with no sweetness and too much sharp carbonation. As it warmed, it mellowed out. Became a slightly sweet, hoppy beer that is probably closer to an American Pale ale or an Amber than a belgian ale. Only the apparent belgian yeast gives some redeeming quality. Nothing special, but it's nice to try a lesser known small brewed French beer. Thanks again for the bottle, Philippe.

Slightly hazy orange amber color, short white head. Strong caramel aroma, some vanilla, very nice. Nice caramel malty taste. Bit sharp palate though. Excellent brew by a good French brewery!

Nice orange color, thick head. Malt and hop aroma, metallic. Dry, light malt, metallic; distinctive blueberry finish. Too long hop infusion. A bit homebrew style, but quite peculiar.

Bronze coloured. Big yeasty/fruity aroma. Fullbodied, sweet-ish, fruity (pineapple). Grapefruit-bitter finish. A good beer, but it could've been just a liiiiittle bit stronger!

Golden coloured. Vanilla nose. Very softly malty. Sweet with notes of honey and a lingering balsamic finish with a fair bit of bitterness.
