Formerly known as either "Gambrinus Dia" or "Gambrinus se sníženým obsahem cukrů". Name changed for EU legislation reasons in 2009 to Gambrinus Dry. ABV went up over time from 3.6 over 3.8 to 4%.

Díky vyššímu prokvašení vycházíme vstříc těm pivařům, kteří vyznávají moderní životní styl a v rámci doporučené životosprávy mohou v omezeném množství konzumovat pivo, obsahující méně cukrů. Přesto si díky klasickému varnímu postupu uchovává výborné chuťové vlastnosti plzeňského piva.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw - lacks some malt, hence it is boring. The body is thin.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr/KimJohansen. Clear yellow with a rough, white head. Good malty aroma, some grassy accents as well. Medium body, malt and a little cardboard and again grassy accents. The finish is dry without any greater bitterness, but surprisingly a little sweet. 141208

Bottle (Gambrinus se snyženym obsahem cukru): Golden, lazy carbonation, smaller loose white head, that quickly diminishes to a small and stable white layer; light grainy to strawy nose with the faintest bitter touch; light sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied as well; light cardboardy and grainy finish with a hoppy illusion in the aftertaste. Bland, that’s understood, but not much worse than the "regular" Gambrinus........

Bottled(500ml). -as Gambrinus se snyženim obsahem cukru.
Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, weak almost neutral nose. Czech sparkling water with just tiny touch of hops and cereals. Bitterish finish, totally tasteless brew.

0.5l bottle that ogivlado got somewhere in Plzen and shared it (thanks!)Golden body, medium sized white head. Faint nose, extremely weak hop, cabbagey too. The taste isn’t much stronger either, weak, watery. Big carbonation bite. Light notes of clams. Yaaaaay! Extremely weak acidic hop and some eggs. Awful, no character and what little there is just doesn’t work.
