Bottled, thanks bolagshataren. Clear golden, no head. Neutral nose. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with plastic mouthfeel. Void and tasteless, save for some boiled begetables. Almost no bitterness. Typical Brau Union Österreich standard...

Bottle, 6.0%. Lagery aroma. Clear grey amber colour. Semi-stable, frothy white head. The flavour is vinous with some alcohol. Has a little sour note along with a malty and spicy touch. Good mouthfeel.

0.5 l bottle from Spar in Semriach. Poured deep golden body with small head. Sweetish flower malty aroma, with touch of honey. Flavor sweetish malty again, quite full bodied, honeyish and pleasant, with just a hint of alcohol, well hidden with pleasant sweetness from my perspective. However, my girlfriend thought it is pretty alcoholic for given ABV. Small carbonation with fine oily texture. Had pleasant, not so long, sweetish finish. Quite good beer.

0.5l bottle purchased at some Spar near Leibnitz This poured a nice bronze colour with a bedium sized head. Unimpressive malty/grainy nose. The taste is weak. A pleasant, chewy mild hopiness (that was lemony and/or metallic at times) is the focal point of this one and it continues nicely into the aftertaste, and I dig that. One can, however feel just a week, "skittish" crude malty, maaaaybe even alcoholic taste. The taste differs a lot from the crude alcohol-crude bitterness assault I recieved from some other Austrian pale bocks, and it’s understandable, as this isn’t exactly a true bock but an ice beer. So "ordinary" and yet it eludes most conventional categories.
