An excellent choice for those who appreciate a classic. It’s a clear, golden beer with a refined taste, mild bitterness and a noble, hoppy aroma.

This is the brand’s flagship drink, available in many countries around the world in a wide range of packaging.

Boks 500ml anskaffet av djoeye og delt med Rune på Nerstranda 5 Aug 14. Gylden. Veldig lavt skum. Aroma av mais. Smaken er søt malt. Antydning til papp i avslutninga.

Big 1L bottle at the flat in Sofia, Bulgaria. Pours perfectly clear pale yellow, lightly effervescent, with a small but impressively long-lasting white foam head. Pale bread and cereal in the nose, some dough. Light sweet flavor with dough, cereal, mild straw, bread batter, faint paper. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish with light bitter hay, white bread, hints of lined paper and cereal. Pretty basic cheap lager.

Can from a small market in Firenze. Pours gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is more hoppy than bready. Near med body. Flavor is bready with noble hop. It’s rather clean - that’s a plus - it is somewhat bitter - that’s a plus - but the flavors aren’t above average strong. That’s a minus. It’s drinkable, if nothing better is available.

Pours slightly hazy gold with a soapy white head. Sour grain malt aroma. Taste is a little green bottle, cardboard and grain. Basic Bargain Euro-Lager. Pretty bad.

1L plastic (!) bottle, cheap, 4.5%, contains antioxidant (ascorbic acid). Pale yellow color, usual white head. Nothing on the nose. Grains, unmalted stuff, lemon, cardboard, spruce, cooked vegetables. Thin body, watery, carbonated. Sour finish. Discount quality thirstquencher.

660ml. Pale golden body, clear. Frothy white head, rapidly diminishing. Aromas of hay, toast, bread, grass and honey. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, thin, watery texture and lively carbonation. Nice pils aroma. Too thin in the body. Simple beer, but refreshing.

Pours clear gold into a stein. Bright white head quickly recedes to skim surface. Skunk and sour hay aromas. Sweet skunk upfront with a lasting bitter metallic finish.
