My sample is definitely the "Premium" bottle as in the pic. The "Marina" caption in nowhere mentioned. But instead of 4.1, the ABV is given for 5.2%! Medium dark beige head over near-black beer with ruby reflections. Dry chocolate/cacao powder aromas, dark malts, dark grains, burnt barley. Very stout-like initial flavour, soon relieved by a more sweet flavour, slightly liquorice-like. Definite roasted components - more Schwarz than Dunkel, IMO. Sweetness is not syrupy, leaving a dry-ish, softly carbonated and light-to-medium bodied beer. Not bad, pretty dry Dunkel to sweet-ending Schwarz. Many thanks to the Urselian Slovak gang!!

Bottled 500ml. -as Topvar Premium Tmave. Dark brown coloured, medium sized pale beige head, pleasant coffee/chicory nose. Roasted malt, coffee and chicory with notes of (milk) chocolate. Nice roasty and bitter finish. This one was very pleasant surprise.

11% that’s weaker than the 10° used to be? Go Slovak Republic :D. 0.5l bottle, Topvar Premium Tmavé, brought by ogivlado from Bratislava and shared with me (thanks!) Poured a very dark red-brown, almost black with a medium sized tan head that went away at a medium pace. Quite impressive. The nose showed promise too, dusty macchiato, pleasant chocolate, sweet and nice. And, to our delight, the taste fulfilled the promise. Nice bittersweet roasty coffee maltiness, notes of chicory, long roasty bitter aftertaste. A superb, well, I’d put it under schwarzbier but it doesn’t matter, a superb dark lager, especially for the strength.
