Bottle from Base Camp. Hoppy nose, grass, herbs, biscuit malt. Medium gold. Crisp, brady, low hops, bit of orange and melon. Medium carbo. Ok. Maybe not so fresh. Decent, though.

Review according to BJCP2008 guidelines (style 2B). Bottle 33cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: malt background with faint herbal hop aroma. APPEARANCE: golden yellow color and very clear. thin head with medium-low retention. TASTE: malty sweet balanced with some bitterness that does not linger. very faint hop flavours. finishes a bit dry. no esters. PALATE: medium-light body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a sub-par czech pilsner. should have more hop character.

Bottle 330ml (Prisma, Mikkola)
Clear golden color, small white head. Light buttery nose. Light-bodied. Honeyish sweetness, some earthy notes, hops, light buttery notes. Bad way unclean.

Bottled (Prisma, Vaasa). Yellowish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy, grassy, bready malty along with some herbal notes. Flavour is herbal, grassy, bready and a bit slight toffeeish notes. Refreshing, but a bit mouldy/earthcellary, otherwise fresh and nice.

33cl bottle. Deep amber, thin white head. Diacetyl in aroma, with grassy and malty notes. Flavor has grassy hops, sweetness, butter. Grassy bitter finish. Heavy and chewy to drink, but otherwise quite clean and not too sweet either.

Bottle. Sour barley malt and grassy/herbal hops aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet barley malt and slightly bitter grassy hops flavor. Nice - wish I could get it fresher though.

Total Wine, Fairfax 500ml ($2.50): Pours a light orange color with a white head. Aroma is grass, malt, and grain. Taste is definitely on the sweet side of Bohemian PIlseners. There is no vegetal skunkiness, nor is there much in the way of hoppy bitterness. Beer is sessionable and has no offensive qualities. Somewhat malty.

Bottle: Bright golden pour, short lived white head. Not much of an aroma really... faintly malty. Crisp enough, yet barely any grassey or floral bits. Mostly lager malt and some doughiness. Ok.

Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a slightly hazy golden amber color with a small creamy white head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was faintly dry with a touch of perfumey hops. The flavor was tangy and sweetish with notes of bread, faint perfumey hops and a touch of citrus, The finish was medium length tangy bread and hops. Medium body. Eh.
