Der Name kommt lt. Information auf dem Etikett vom alt-tschechischen Wort "Grunt", was soviel wie "Grundstück" bedeutet...aus welcher Sprache dieses Wort entnommen wurde, ist wohl nicht schwer zu erraten. So sind viele tschechische Umgangssprache-Wörter aus dem Deutschen bzw. Jiddischen entnommen. Jedenfalls wird mit diesem Bier gefeiert, dass in der k.u k.-Zeit in Böhmen und Mähren ein Katasterplan eingeführt wurde (heute noch hängt an jedem Haus in CZ neben der Tafel mit der Haus-Nr. eine Tafel mit der Kataster-Nr.). Aber genug vom geschichtlichen Hintergrund -kommen wir zum Bier: Ein sehr gutes 11-grädiges Helles, das sich schön trinken lässt. Vielleicht ohne spezielle Aromen, aber dafür mit allem, was ein typisches vollmundiges Bier ausmacht. Bitte nicht verwechseln mit den Grunt-Bieren der Brauerei Vyškov, die vermutlich aus dem gleichen Grund Biersorten benannt haben.

Darkish golden colored, moderate white head. Aroma is of malt, grains, some buttery notes, some herbal hops. Taste is moderate sweet malt, grains, butter, bit fruit, herbal hops with low+ bitterness, metallic finish. Medium bodied and carbonation.

Bottle 0,5l. Clear, gold colored beer. Malty aroma and flavor, moderately bitter, slight fruity tones, unpleasant salty tone, medium bodied.
Average Czech lager, not really bad.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity bready grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy bready finish.

500ml bottle from premium Czech beers online. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Aromas of grassy hops, grains. Taste is light sweet, slight metallic note. Clean finish. Ok.

50cl Bottle from houseofbeer. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet pale malts, hay, honey, grass. Flavour is likewise, light metallic, nice grassy bitter finish. Light-bodied, oily mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, slightly sweet, a bit grainy, slightly bitter. Decent beer.

Bottle @ benzai. Clear golden colour with a medium sized white head. Smells malts, grassy, dusty. Tastes malts, grains, sweetish. Thin to medium body, nice carbo.

Bottled. Pale yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some hay, mild grass as well as some mild wooden notes. Flavour is very similar, but also has mild metallic and a bit chalky notes to it.
