Cellar draught, 9/30/23. Dark, inky, viscous, no head. Nose is nice and mellow with rich chocolate, light vanilla, peppery, spicy, lightly leaden barrel. Almost a juicy dark fruitiness of raisin or prune. No booze, no excess sugar. Soft, rich, comforting with a ton of spice, black pepper, cherry-vanilla, excellent, long, syrupy malt and tons of whiskey, all nice and mellowed. Rich, but with reasonable attenuation and great balance.

(Bottle pour @ Himmeriget, Copenhagen, Dec 15/17) Motor oil pour with no head. Aroma of rich syrupy dark malt, vanilla, chocolate fudge, rich whiskey, dark fruit and light fortified wine, semi-woody. Flavour is sweet and unctuous, dark toffee malt, sweet whiskey, touch or maple maybe, soft and plush, fair amount of dark fruit, port, stewed plums, rich and almost buttery oak, deep long finish with the barrels and thick syrupy malt all riding out into the sunset. Alcohol is well disguised. Thick viscous body with very low carb. Luxurious sort of brew, it's definitely sweet but it feels fitting rather than cloying. Was fine with a small pour but it's perfect to swirl in a snifter and think over.

16.12.2017, 0,75l bottle sampled @ Himmeriget:
Tiny brown shortlasting head, thick black pour. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish mineraly, dark malts, oak, raisins, minerals, fruit stones, dark fruits, bourbon, grass, bark, burnt toast, bitter chocolate, dates. Taste is sweet sour-ish fruity, dark sugar, raisins, dark malts, oak, minerals, dates, bourbon, vanilla, butterscotch, sour dark fruits, even more dark sugar, bark, bitter chocolate. Medium to longlasting bitterness, sweet syrupy and slightly dry boozy mouthfeel. Nice, but in general a bit too sweet. A small sample is more than enough.
