Optisch zeigt sich dieses Bier hellgoldgelb und klar mit feiner bis mittelgrober Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone hinterlässt dabei einen sehr flaumigen und langlebigen Eindruck. Der Duft gibt getreidige Malznoten und eine akzeptable butterige Note wieder. Der Antrunk kommt angenehm spritzig, wirkt durchaus frisch und zartmalzig. Am Gaumen zeigt sich ein relativ dünner Körper mit leichter Malznote, zarter Würze und kaum vorhandenem Hopfenton. Anfangs dachte ich schon, das würde in Richtung eines tschechischen Lagers gehen, aber nein... dort haben elfgrädige Biere mehr Geschmack. Auch wenn dieses Bier ziemlich langweilig und absolut anspruchslos ist, ist es absolut nicht schlecht. Eben nur sehr sehr einfach. So ergeben sich ein durchaus akzeptables Mundgefühl und eine ebenso akzeptable Süffigkeit. Im Nachtrunk wirken die leichten Malznoten noch ein wenig nach und im Übergang zu einer zarten Hopfenaromatik schleicht sich ein Hauch Honig. Ja... sehr einfach, aber nicht übel.

# 3257; 10/2022. Malty, strong butter to vomit aroma. Brilliant gold body, white head. Malty, spicy, butter, slightly skunk. Bland lager with horrible aroma. 0,33 l, green bottle, supermarket, Laa an der Thaya (Niederösterreich, Austria).

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, leicht hopfiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, leicht getreidig, leicht hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma is grainy, grassy, floral and a bit skunky with mild green apple note. Pours clear pale golden color with thin quickly diminishing white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet bready malt, following is grassy and papery, mouthfeel is quite crisp, while finish is medium bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Quite rich taste for the style, although still not much more than a common lager...

Pours clear light golden, topped with thin and not lasting white head. Gentle grainy nose, a bit of corn. Grassy herbal bitter, a bit too sharp with lots of metal feel. Light. Quite unpleasant actually.

Keg at SBWF (as Lager 4.x%) Clear golden, creamy head. Fruity malt aroma. Mid sweet with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and mildly buttery with very low hop rate and low bitterness. Harmonious malty helles.

Thanks to djoeye for sharing a 330ml dark green bottle. Straw-yellow body, loose white head. Sweet smell of grainy malts. Similar flavours of mid-sweet grainy malts, some distant citric notes. Soft in the mouth. Very anonymous (Tromsø 11.10.2015).

09/12 Marko’s 0.33l bottle from Austria, great thanks for sharing all of these! It poured clear yellow body with small head. Weaker malty aroma, honey and flowers. Slightly sweet malty flavor, biscuity, dusty with notes of weak herbal hops. Medium bodied with according finish, where herbal hops were more pronounced. Nothing unpleasant here, at contrary, it’s a solid generic pale lager.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & heavy (thanks!) Golden coloured, small airy white head, light cardboard in the nose. Malty, light bready and cardboard with short finish. Boring one.
