It is a typical chinese beer, nothing special, poor taste of malt, no hop, mainly watery, yellow and transparent body, 23.06.16, drinking it during one of my last trip in China, to visit my father.

Light malt and corn aroma. Taste of straw mainly, little bitterness. Refreshing at least.

Can sample at a a tasting at troubles’ place. Thanks Tom L. Clear pale with almost no head. Aroma of graininess, corn, a bit of metal. Slightly sweetish flavor, kinda bland. Light-bodied, watery. Not too offensive.

50cl can shared by someone that got it as gift from China. Guess the one buying the gift didn’t know how light it was. Pours very pale yellow with a modest and fast dissipating white head. Mild grainy aroma and not much more. Thin, watery and not much flavour at all. Pretty close to water in my opinion. Not much to write home about. --- Beer merged from original tick of 8º 纯生 (Draft) on 24 Dec 2016 at 20:00 - Score: 3

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein hellgoldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch unangenehm malzig, leicht getreidig. Geschmack sehr wässrig, leicht malzig, getreidig, muffig.

Ok, this is one of the stranger rates I’ve made. Anyway, after first trying a German export "version", I’ve bought another bottle in a Chinese shop in Zagreb, with the importer’s sticker reading 4.5%, but what always bugged me that, underneath, the original sticker (that I saved) seemed to claim otherwise and now I can say safely that it says 3.1% and 8°. The label is the same as the regular Tsingtao so it goes here. GTIN - 6901035603751 Rating from 21.12.2005, copypasted in its’ full glory, split from the regular Tsingtao entry rating with all the mistakes and references: Guess they send the good stuff to Germany. This was horrendous. Pale yellow colour, big fluffy white head. Very faint malty aroma. The taste is... nasty, watery, of course, with a healthy dose of something odd, artificial and out of place. A mixture of paint, formaldehyde, old markers, dentist mouthwash and kitchen cleanser. Wonderful, eh ? The worst beer I’ve had the opportunity to taste. Thankfully, no aftertaste. I’ll go with an average between these two versions (rounded down). (2/1/1/1/2)

Bottled in Changchun, Jilin. Clear very pale yellow, no head. Dry and lightly fruity with clean taste. Thin and somewhat salty with plenty of water. The barely perceptible bitterness dominates due to the complete lackof other flavours.

Very pale straw colour. The aroma is vaguely spicy-hoppy. Ditto the palate. This doesn’t mean that the spicy hop is a factor in the beer, because it isn’t. But you can’t taste anything else either.
