Bottle, 0.33l. From Eurospin supermarket, brewed by Vizir. Cloudy copper pour, one finger frothy off-white head. Long lasting, good lacing on the glass. Herbal and grassy nose, a bit of pine and citrus. Thin to medium body, medium to high carbonation. Very prickly on the tongue, fizzy mouthfeel. Average texture. Mostly bitter taste, a bit harsh and off-balanced. Aroma of herbs and grass, pine. Strong herbal peppery character. A bit empty, harsh bitterness overpowering pretty much everything. Finishes dry and peppery with lasting bitterness. Overall, mediocre IPA. Unbalanced and one-dimensional.

Pours hazy orange body with big and frothy white head. Smell is your usual IPA, lots of hops, lots of citrus. Slight bitterness on the nose as well. Medium body, medium carbonation. Oily texture. Lovely bitter taste. Aroma of malts, hops, citrus fruit. Grapefruit, bitter orange. Some caramel towards the finish. Nicely rounded and balanced brew. Overall, good IPA. Nothing groundbreaking, but good nonetheless.

Shared with Igor. Murky golden to amber, no head really. Unmistakable Cascade and Citra. Bitterness and alcohol in the taste. Light, leaves very small amount of bitterness in the finish. Nothing special.

Bottle [from Secret Santa Europe 2015] @ weekly tasting shared with Joes and Judyvv. Opaque hazy light to medium orange color, medium sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, some hops, lightly a hint of old hops, lightly butter. Taste malts, lightly hops, a hint of fruityness, again lightly butter, lightly bitter. Average to decent body, decent carbonation. Decent attempt, but needs some work I’d say.

bottle at home bought at Dobro Pivo Ljubljana. BB 08.2015. orange light hazy color. medium big off-white head. smells citric, acidic, light pines, some grass, lightly rubbery/herbal, some fruit zest, light underlying sweetness. light body, medium bubbly carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes herbal, some grass, light spices, light tobacco, some citric notes, light sweetness to balance out the bitterness. rather strong dry herbal bitter finish. Not too special but I like it, rather herbal though.

On tap at Brežice Beer Fest. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, light sweetish hoppy nose. Malty, citrusy hoppy, strong herbal and touch of nuts with touch of spicy hops in the finish. Quite messy beer but easy drinkable.

Brežice Beer Fest. Poured a dark golden body with almost no head. Vaaaague aroma hops in the nose, citric, candyish, but very, very vague. The taste is bitter up front, vaguely fishy, vaguely grainy... and not much else, with a strange tea-like herbal note permeating it. Not unpleasant, not a bad beer, not really "American", but it’s interesting and drinkable - if you’re not expecting that much, great!
