On tap at Union Pivnica, pours a clear chestnut brown / dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt and light nuttiness. Flavour follows suit, with toasted caramel, some bready malt and toasted nuts. Lightly sweet, with a bready malt finish. Decent.

From tap at Pivnica Union, Ljubljana, 25.07.17. Dark chestnut. Beige head and lacing. Aroma of raw medium dark malt, mash and dark caramel. More decent taste, still with hints of dark mash.

Sample draft @ Pivnica Union, Ljubljana. Cuivrée, col beige. Arôme au nez plaisant, centré sur les malts avec un petit rétro de pomme caramélisée. Pointe de fruits noirs en retrait, malt possible de crystal, plus fruits secs. Palais malté, pâle, Munich petit touche de brûlé avec une chaleur perçant en rétro. Biscuité ponctué par un agréable houblonné noble conférant des notes de citronné. Retrouve aussi ce côté fruits secs de raisin qui complète bien le fini biscuité et l’amertume noble.

0.33 l bottle from a supermarket in Slovenske Konjice, Slovenia. Drank last year. Dark brown to red, quite firm off-white head. Malts and raisins in the aroma, but to faint. Metallic taste. Body to light, no thickness, lacks everything. Bad.

Im Vergleich mit manchen mitteleuropäischen Böcken ist dieser sehr bekömmlich. Ich habe meinen bereits vor ca. 5 Jahren getrunken aber man findet ihn immer noch. Süße Ansätze in einem Gerüst von Malz. Dazu ein kleines bisschen Hopfen on top. Kann man lassen.

Bottled, thanks MarkoNm! Sark mahogany colour, mid sized head. Milky nose with notes of asphalt. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded, somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Molasses, notes of tar and milk. Slightly metallic finish.
