Borefts VIII. Day 2. Keg. Light haze on this gold beer, tidy white head. Palate is light, dry and has decent carbonation. Mildly sour start, orange and lemon resolving. Some lactic thing going on. Dry finish. Tastes dry and forced.

Keg at Fermentoren. It pours lightly hazy pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, stewed orange, tropical fruits, bread, brioche, um bungo and icing sugar. The taste is clean, crisp, soft sour fruity vibe, mild acidity, kumquat, orange peel, mandarin, lemon-lime, slightly salty and minerals with a dry finish. Light body and fine carbonation. Bit of a disconnect between aroma and taste. Simple and mellow sour.

Draught at Tribaun, Innsbruck.
Dark golden, moderate hazy body, with a medium, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma of sour citrus, sour apples, tropical fruits, some biscuit.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes, medium sour, a bit dry, citric, with apples.

Nice one. Straight, hoppy Ale, with a sour twist. Well balanced, while lacking some more character maybe. Overall fresh and quaffable stuff.

Clear straw blond appearance. Aroma and flavour are very citric and sharp. It really dries out in the finish.
