Every summer, wildfires destroy thousands of square kilometers of green forests, turning them into black, burned areas. Boranka is one of the largest volunteer projects with an aim to ‘paint’ those black, burned areas into new green forests.
Scouts and other volunteers joined this campaign and helped! You can join too, become donator or volunteer! Also, drinking our stout you participate in our donation to Boranka!
Cheers and let's plant those trees back!
Hej, Boranka te treba! Budi dio sjajne priče o pošumljavanju Hrvatske! Kako? Znaš da nesretne vatrene stihije ostavljaju pustoš i spaljenu zemlju, a priroda je nemoćna sama se obraniti i brzo obnoviti? Baš zbog toga su Savez izviđača Hrvatske, Hrvatske šume i Hrvatska gorska služba spašavanja 2018. godine pokrenuli kampanju Boranka - projekt pošumljavanja opožarenih područja Dalmacije! Na crno zgarište vratiti život obojen u zeleno! Stoga postani darivatelj, volonter i... nazdravi uz Boranku! Osim što smo ovom plemenitom cilju odali čast nazvavši naš stout - Boranka, svakom njegovom konzumacijom sudjeluješ u donatorskoj akciji #PulferZaBoranku!
Malts: Caramunich 2, Black, Chocolate. Barley flakes. Bittering hops: Chinook.

Još jedno pivo od jedne male pivovare koja se probila u velike trgovine. Ovo je stout od 6,5% alk. Vrlo dobar stout u kojem se osjete okusi čokolade i kave. Dobra je. Baš gledam malo i njihovu stranicu. Imaju pun klinac piva ali nažalost samo se par može naručiti iz webshopa. :-/

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, nuts and herbs. Pours almost black color with huge light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts medium sweet and rich roasted malt, follows by cocoa and dark fruity acidity, mouthfeel is smooth and mild spicy, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Pint or pine, that is the question...

Pours black, medium sized off-white,almost brown head with good retention. Aroma coffee and roasty malts. Medium carbonation, light to medium body, expected more body. Roasty in taste with some nuts. Light bitter that goes to medium in aftertaste. Balanced? Yes. But not enough body

Bottle, 0.5l. 6% ABV. Deep ruby pour, almost black. One finger soapy beige head, short to medium retention. Minimal lacing. Faint nose, some caramel notes, slight coffee. Quite subdued. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Light texture, quite watery. Moderately bitter taste, a bit harsh and unbalanced. Aroma also quite held back and watered down. Slightly roasty, some caramel and coffee notes. Herbal. Hm. Hop bitterness in the aftertaste pretty much dominated everything else. Unbalanced. Drying mouthfeel, a bit peppery. Overall, mediocre. Expected something a bit better after they pulled off black IPA so nicely... Oh well.

Black colored, medium tan creamy head, good lasting. Aroma is of roasted malt, some dark chocolate, bit caramel. Taste is medium- sweet caramel and dark chocolate, roasted malt, I’d guess some oat but it’s barley flakes, moderate roasty bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, bit creamy. (on tap, Fakin, Zagreb)

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Pours dark brown, tan head. The first I had seemed quite roasty, the ones I’ve tried afterwards seemed more balanced. Chocolate, sweet, bitter finish, soft carbonation, bit lactic? Medium bodied.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Almost black coloured, small to medium sized brownish head, some caramel in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, light chocolate, notes of hops and mild roasty bitterish finish. Easy-drinkable and pleasant stout.
